I write down everything in my planner. Every. single. engagement. I use it for to-do lists. I store a lot of top secret info inside (notes I take at the doctor, passwords, measurements). It helps keep me sane and organized, and I don’t think there will ever be a time when I can fully make the switch to a paperless calendar.
The past few weeks have stressed me out majorly. Don’t worry, not for normal reasons, but because I did not yet have a 2015 planner. All of the sudden, parties were being planned, the dates for restaurant week were announced, and the blogging events came rolling in, and I did not have any way to organize what I could attend. But finally, my pretty planner is in my hands (hint: it’s one of the ones I’m about to mention below!), and I have already started filling it in. I also bought some colored pens, so I can attempt to be super organized and color code the whole book. I’m guessing I’ll have the white out out in approx. 3-4 days.

Because I love these little planners so much, I wanted to share some contenders in my quest for the perfect organizational companion. All of these guys are available on Etsy (aka my go-to for everything), so if you’re still looking, let these ideas kickstart your search!
Design Love Planner (spoiler alert: this is mine!): I have been lusting after this planner for months, but the price + shipping was a tad bit too high for me. I signed up for alerts from the shop on social media, and was able to snag this baby for under $50 on Cyber Monday. I’m obsessed with the to-do lists and pretty pull out prints.
Plum Paper Designs: This line of planners has been on my wish list for quite a few years now. I love the great designs and customizable covers – they definitely made the college-aged me scream in glee. This shop is also the mecca of organization: teacher planners, meal planners, wedding planners . . . just go check it out.
Sugar & Type: This one has a lot of similar features to the Design Love Planner, but it’s more crisp and compact. The to-do lists are awesome and I really like all of the goal setting throughout the planning pages.
ShePlans: How. Cute?! On top of the cover being adorable, the inside is so aesthetically pleasing and functional. This one has a huge focus on to-dos, so if you’re super list savvy, make sure to take a look.
Ninj & Ninj: If you’re unafraid of pulling out a planner with the word ‘shit’ on the cover in front of, say, your boss or your grandma, check this pretty one out. The inside is accented in a pretty mint color and there is tons of space to write in your obligations.
Etsy has a ton of other options, so if you haven’t found “the one” yet, search around. Happy shopping!
Oh! Before we go – congratulations to Meghan for winning tickets to Flavors of the Avenue and Katie for winning the Eagles prize pack! If you haven’t yet entered to win my giveaways for Andre Richard Salon, Flywheel, or High Street on Market, you still have time. Maybe you could write yourself a reminder in your planner? xx
