Philly Beer Week is almost here! PBW is always a fun time in the city – a time to try your favorite brews with other people who love them just as much, expand your craft beer knowledge through sites like beerandwine.guide, so you’ll be able to have in-depth conversations with beer enthusiasts, and perhaps even check out some bearded brewers in the process, but that’s optional. There are hundreds of events happening from June 1st (this Friday!) to June 10th, but tbh, the Philly Loves Beer website is not the easiest to dig through. Lucky for you (seriously – this is more work than you’d think), I’ve scoured the site, read the event descriptions, and I’m here to share my top picks – whether you’re hanging with your buds, going on a date, or are looking for more of a family/pup appropriate event – I’ve got the best.
Before we jump in, I don’t want to forget Friday’s Opening Tap at the Fillmore (29 East Allen Street), where 60+ breweries will be sampling their brews over the sounds of Chill Moody. I went for the first time last year, and it’s such a fun event. Tickets start are $46 for GA and $66 for VIP (I’ve seen some 10% off codes floating around on Twitter) BUT… I am giving away two GA tickets over on my Instagram! If you’d like a bonus entry, pick your favorite event from the list below and head over to Instagram to see how to enter.
